Creative Direction

To celebrate the Ramadan 2024 collection, ALDO sought a 3D-first, emotionally resonant visual campaign that would stand out in one of Dubai’s busiest outdoor locations. The creative vision centered around ALDO’s iconic pink products—floating above the streets, wrapped in flowing fabric and accented with golden particles under Ramadan-inspired lighting.

Challenges

Achieving this vision meant overcoming multiple challenges: ultra-realistic cloth simulation and surface textures, preserving depth and optical illusion across a dual-canvas LED layout, and optimizing render output for seamless performance on a curved screen.

We used Blender for cloth simulation and 3D modeling, Cinema 4D for animation and camera setup, and After Effects for color passes and precise timing. The result was a billboard-ready delivery, turned around in under 30 days, that quickly became one of ALDO’s most shared regional campaigns.
